Sattva Yoga Spa is a business like no other. It is changing the way yoga is practiced, the way yoga teachers are compensated and valued, and the way students interact with the yoga industry. Karma Yogis at Sattva Yoga Spa are the face of the revolution and the heart of the community. They interact with students in a transaction-less environment (we’ve traded a front desk for a luxurious seating area). Each shift, the SYS Karma Yogis introduce new clients to the center and amenities, assist with studio upkeep, address membership and billing questions, attend to immediate student needs, and multi-task yoga and spa logistics in a tranquil setting filled with happy faces and hearts.

Ideal candidates have a passion for yoga and a background in customer service. Karma Yogis are responsible for front-of-house student satisfaction and success as well as back-of-house maintenance, and are held to specific satisfaction and experience standards. The volunteer position requires punctuality, attention to detail, deep care for the success of the Whole (business + community), a positive team mentality, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Applicants must be available to volunteer early morning, late evening, or weekend shifts, 8-16 hours per month. Number of monthly volunteer hours will determine your discounted membership rate:

Work 8 hours per month = Unlimited Yoga Membership $100/month
Work 12 hours per month = Unlimited Yoga Membership $25/month
Work 16 hours per month = Unlimited Yoga Membership FREE

For each additional 4-hour shift beyond 16 hours, you will have the option to receive either one free Hot & Cold Spa session OR two free yoga guest passes!
