As Thanksgiving arrives, I’ve been thinking about gratitude through the lens of yoga philosophy, not as a once-a-year ritual, but as a way of returning to ourselves.
This season is full of noise: sales, urgency, parties, "perfect family" holiday photo cards, comparison, constant invitations to reach outward. Yoga philosophy teaches us that desire is the fundamental root of suffering because it externalizes us, scattering our attention toward what we don’t yet have, instead of settling into what’s already here.
But nature is encouraging something entirely different. As the days grow darker and colder, this time of year offers a natural invitation to turn inward toward contentment, presence, and the quieter forms of gratitude.
In that spirit, we’re offering a gentle Gratitude Sale with three supportive ways to nourish yourself as the year comes to a close. And yes... I did just tell you not to get swept up in Black Friday madness. The irony is not lost on me. 😉 Think of this as less of a sale to chase and more of a love note to yourself. An offering from my heart to yours.
May your practices this season help you soften desire’s pull and reconnect with what is steady, simple, and true.
